We have been working with the filter that almost is ready. It is a combination filter that consists of both cyclone and fine filter. There is also room for a fibre glass filter. We have decided to build the filter this way to keep the temperature high so no water will condensate in the filter and to save space.
The filter is divided in to three sections. The first thing the gas comes in to is the cyclone filter there bigger particles get trapped and fall down in to the bottom box. Then the gas goes in a U-turn and comes down the middle ash box. We are hoping that the particles will stop there and fall to the bottom due to the bigger area in the grid. The particles then have to go up through the filter materials.
